    1. Introduction

    Welcome to R. Howe Electric Inc. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms of service outline the obligations and responsibilities of both R. Howe Electric Inc. and our clients, including builders and homeowners, to ensure a transparent and efficient working relationship. These terms are considered an addendum to any Power of Attorney entered into by R. Howe Electric Inc.

    2. Payment Terms

    2.1 Extended Terms for Builders and Homeowners

    For clients who have been granted extended payment terms by R. Howe Electric Inc., payment must be submitted within 30 days of the invoice date.

    2.2 Late Payment Surcharge

    If payment is not received within 30 days, a 10% surcharge will be applied to the remaining balance monthly until the balance is paid in full. This surcharge will be compounded monthly on the outstanding amount.

    2.3 Collections

    Failure to submit payment within 60 days will result in the account being elevated to collections. All costs incurred by R. Howe Electric Inc. to recover the payment, including but not limited to legal fees and collection agency fees, will be added to the balance owed by the client.

    Note: Our collections process complies with the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA) and the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Clients will receive proper notification and have the opportunity to dispute any charges in accordance with these laws.

    3. Transparency and Concurrence in Estimation

    3.1 Estimation Process

    At R. Howe Electric Inc., we prioritize transparency through our estimation process. Upon request for a service, we will provide a detailed estimate outlining the scope of work, costs, and timeline. All jobs are estimated based on being dispatched from our HQ in Sanford, FL.

    3.2 Acceptance of Estimate

    To proceed with the job, the client must provide signed acceptance of the estimate through our project management platform. This acceptance signifies concurrence with the terms and costs outlined in the estimate.

    3.3 Alignment with Estimate

    All jobs will be performed in strict alignment with the approved estimate. Any deviations or additional services required will be promptly communicated to the client.

    3.4 Approval for Additional Services

    Should any issues arise during the course of the project that necessitate additional services or costs, these will be communicated to the client for approval before any further work continues. Additional services or costs will only be undertaken upon receiving written approval from the client.

    4. Communication and Updates

    4.1 Ongoing Communication

    R. Howe Electric Inc. is committed to maintaining open lines of communication with our clients. We will provide regular updates on the progress of the project and any potential issues that may arise.

    4.2 Prompt Notification

    In the event of unforeseen circumstances or delays, we will notify the client promptly and provide a revised timeline and any potential cost implications.

    5. Compliance and Safety

    5.1 Industry Standards

    R. Howe Electric Inc. adheres to all industry standards and regulations to ensure the safety and quality of our services.

    5.2 Licenses and Certifications

    We hold various licenses and certifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant industry standards and best practices.

    6. Warranty

    6.1 Workmanship and Material Warranty

    R. Howe Electric Inc. warrants our workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation. If any issues arise due to our workmanship or the materials we provided within this period, we will address and rectify them at no additional cost to the client.

    6.2 Client-Provided Materials

    If the client provides the materials for the project, R. Howe Electric Inc. warrants only the workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of installation. We make no claims to warranty the provided materials, including but not limited to circuit breakers and load center panels.

    7. Dispute Resolution

    7.1 Resolution Process

    Any disputes arising from these terms of service or the execution of the project will be addressed promptly and in good faith. We encourage clients to communicate any concerns directly with us to seek a resolution.

    7.2 Legal Recourse

    If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be subject to mediation or legal proceedings as deemed appropriate by both parties.

    Note: Our dispute resolution process complies with Florida’s Construction Lien Law (Chapter 713, Florida Statutes), which provides specific procedures for resolving disputes related to construction projects.

    8. Amendments

    8.1 Updates to Terms

    R. Howe Electric Inc. reserves the right to update or amend these terms of service at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

    8.2 Acceptance of Amendments

    Continued use of our services following any amendments to these terms will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
